Belgium - The First Day

We arrived very early in the day in Brussels, Belgium, after a 3 hour delay at JFK in New York. After a quick stop at Guy's farm to drop off our things and look around, we all went to a nearby farm with Guy with his uncle, so they could buy some straw. The kids got to see cows and even some bunny rabbits. The people were so nice to us, and invited us to sit for awhile and take something cold to drink. It was southern hospitality mixed with some relaxed, "let's enjoy life" attitude. It's easy to see how small errands can take a very long time, though, and it makes planning virtually impossible!
